Alexandra Yao is responsible for spearheading strategic growth initiatives for IHG’s entire branded residential business and oversees the expansion of the company’s residential business globally across all eight residential brands. Prior to joining IHG, Alexandra held key leadership roles in hotel and branded residential development with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International where she was responsible for establishing the branded residential business and driving growth through mixed use projects. Most recently, Alexandra was with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and was responsible for leading the company’s entire development function across Asia Pacific including planning and executing the growth strategy. Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
