Mr Ho KwonPing is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Banyan Group, Laguna Resorts and Hotels, and Thai Wah Public Company, all listed in Singapore or Thailand. He was the founding Chairman of SMU and has held leadership roles in Singapore Power, MediaCorp, and served on boards including GIC, SIA, and Standard Chartered. Mr Ho has received numerous awards for entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifetime achievement in the hospitality industry. He has been honoured with Singapore’s Meritorious Service Medal and Distinguished Service Order and holds honorary doctorates from universities in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Singapore.
